My name is Steph and I am looking for a full-time job.

I am currently an interaction design graduate student at Carnegie Mellon. When I'm not at studio (which is rare these days) I am making or tinkering or crafting or cooking. I find that I learn the most when exploring outside my comfort zone and pushing to try something new. During my experience as a graphic designer in St. Louis and Chicago, my work focused on branding, print and environmental graphic design. Yet, the projects that centered around designing for learning struck a cord.

Now I am studying the theory and practice of shaping interactions and behaviors among products, people and environments. I believe that good design can empower others to learn, participate and share experiences that can effect positive change in their environments. I graduate in May 2011. Hire me!
