Self Portrait
Comparing family character traits
While the basis of this project was to organize and display multiple layers of information, the biggest challenge was deciding which lens to present myself in to my new classmates. I took a tongue-and-cheek approach beginning with a questionnaire for my parents framed around how phrenology defines character.

Based on my parents’ comments I created a heat map on my skull to show how my character has changed over time compared to theirs’. Call-outs provide anecdotes about each of the traits making for a personal contrast to the “scientific” analysis.
