ActivAid
A mobile application for medical emergencies

Injuries are common, especially for outdoor sport enthusiasts, but not everyone who participates has the experience or knowledge in first aid. The goal of ActivAid is to provide instruction on basic medical assessments for sport related injuries when help is not readily available. ActivAid also provides features to share medical information and current location prior to EMS arrival.

Design Process
A persona and scenarios of use drove all design decisions through iterations of the information architecture. Carefully crafted language and visual cues reduce the learning curve so the user feels confident to make decisions and provide essential aid to the injured victim.
